Join the group Bike Ride to SLIDELUCK Red Hook!
Red Hook, a neighborhood with limited public transportation, is best visited on two wheels. The celebrate this fact Trimble Racing will be organizing a group bicycle ride to the upcoming Slideluck Potshow event in Red Hook on June 25th, 2011. The ride will be 5-7 miles at an easy conversational pace and will take 30-45 minutes depending on the route. All ability levels and types of bikes are welcome. There will be starting points in lower Manhattan, Williamsburg, and Fort Greene. The three routes will merge at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for the final leg to Red Hook. We will have experienced ride leaders to guide the way. Come join us in celebrating Red Hook, photography, and summer-time bicycle riding!

About Slideluck Potshow
Slideluck Potshow is a 501c3 non-profit organization that builds and strengthens community through food and art. This event is our second installment in the 2011 Brooklyn Series celebrating the artists, restaurants and communities of four Brooklyn neighborhoods. 3rd Ward hosted a SLIDELUCK in Bushwick in February and we are planning similar, hyper-localized events in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene (September) and Greenpoint (December)!
About Trimble Racing
Trimble Racing is the organization behind the Red Hook Criterium held annually in Red Hook. The race which combines the underground art of street racing with high level competition has become a much loved event in the neighborhood and greater cycling culture. The event has grown internationally with races in Berlin and Milano. Trimble Racing has a long history in cycling. In the early 80's Trimble pioneered the first carbon fiber frames. These bicycles revolutionized the industry, went on to win Olympic gold medals, and were ultimately banned from competition for offering to great of a performance advantage. http://www.redhookcrit.com
